The Story Exchange: Emotional Literacy Teacher's CPD Project
Project Type
Wellbeing-Focussed Evaluation
Date
August 2023 - August 2025 (ongoing)
Organisation
Oxfordshire Cultural Education Partnership (CEP) & The Story Museum
Created in response to the pandemic, with the negative wellbeing-impact of recent years in mind, The Story Exchange is a 2-year project being run by Oxfordshire CEP in partnership with The Story Museum and 6 local schools with funding from Paul Hamlyn Foundation Teacher Development Fund.

The creative project aims to improve wellbeing, build resilience and develop the necessary skills, knowledge and confidence of teachers and artists working together to provide space for improving Emotional Literacy and Pupil Voice in the classroom.
With all parties working together as co-inquirers, the overall project aim is to tackle the inquiry question:
How can oral story telling and the performing arts support teachers to use stories to improve emotional literacy and pupil voice?
