Draw & Explore was one of many arts engagement programmes I designed and managed at Orleans House Gallery as part of my role in the Learning Team.
Taking inspiration from mindfulness and nature, this ongoing family programme was designed to positively impact participants wellbeing.

Sessions facilitated families in appreciating their surroundings in a group walking / foraging activity in the forest-grounds of Orleans House Gallery. This was followed by an opportunity to mindfully create transient art-work using, and inspired by, the natural materials they had collected on their journey.

As part of my role managing the project I :
- Decided how to evaluate the sessions and designed feedback forms, evaluation scales and participatory evaluation activities. These needed to combine the information we wanted to capture with the information required for the funders.

- Reported to the funders - Richmond Community Learning Fund.

- Oversaw the running of the project, including delivering some of the sessions.

- Recruited and managed artists & session facilitators.

- Marketed the sessions and managed the budget.

- Secured repeat funding to continue the project.
