Ripon Museums Trust is comprised of 3 Museums in Ripon, West Yorkshire. With an impressive volunteer staff force the Museum sought to capture the impact that volunteering has on the wellbeing of local people who volunteer with the Trust, and beyond. Simultaneously they sought to measure the impact of the pandemic on volunteer wellbeing, and the current state of their paid staff's wellbeing.

As consultant for this project I: 

​

- Devised an evaluation framework to measure staff and volunteer wellbeing 

​

- Researched the most appropriate wellbeing scale to use

​

- Devised an evaluation strategy (this combined the use of WEMWEBS scales and case study collection using a framework of the 5 Ways to Wellbeing)

​

- Researched best-practice volunteering/wellbeing projects in the sector

​

- Collected qualitative feedback via surveys and interviews 

​

- Gathered and analysed wellbeing data 

​

- Managed the project Ghant chart 

​

- Delivered training for staff

​

- Produced an 18k word internal report and action plan with recommendations, including future funding options to expand their work
