This diversity-focussed skills project provided 14 Traineeships/Apprenticeships to NEET young people entering the Museums sector.

Orleans House Gallery was the lead organisation, partners being: Strawberry Hill House, Fulham Palace, The World Rugby Museum, Environment Trust, and Arts & Crafts Hammersmith.

As Project Manager of the final 3 years of this 4 year project my role included:
- Providing 1-1 career coaching, mentorship & line management for up to 5 Apprentices/Trainees at a time​
Including: - CV, portfolio and application reviews; practice interviews; job search support; careers advice, with 100% of Trainees/Apprentices successfully moving into paid work

- Planning & delivering careers training & dissemination conferences to share learning with the wider museum sector
​
- Appearing on panel discussions
​
- Curating diversity training and career development events for trainees, apprentices and partner museum staff
​
- Acting as budget holder for the £241k National Lottery Heritage Funded project
​
- Quarterly progress and finance reporting to NHLF
​
- Overseeing the external evaluation report
​
- Recruiting apprentices and trainees (with a focus on actively recruiting diverse candidates)
​
- Undertaking training in: promoting diversity, unconscious bias, and Mental Health First Aid
​
