As part of Oxfordshire CEP's 2 year wellbeing-focused Feeling Safe Project I supported and evaluated their Future Creatives careers day, a culmination of the project, which was attended by young people across 6 schools.

The event took place across the Museum of Oxford, Modern Art Oxford, and The Story Museum and aimed to reimagine the traditional careers fair by engaging young people in a mixture of workshops, performances and cultural visits through the day. Two key aims were to educate young people on career routes within the creative industries and inspire them to pursue creative subject choices at GCSE.
As Evaluator my role was to:
- Design a methodology to measure the impact of engaging in the creative careers day for young people - this used interactive exercises which enabled anonymous feedback

- Facilitate young people to carry out the Evaluation exercises

- Explore the ways in which local Arts organisations and their Schools could support them with creative options

- Evaluate the success of the careers day itself

- Support the running of the day as a whole

- Collect evaluation from teachers and artists who took part in order to gage how involvement impacted their networks, CPD, and confidence
- Feed the evaluation data collected into the final project reports for the CEO and the project funders, Artswork
